Executive Director

Known as the “Jewel of the Lakeshore,” the Capitol Civic Centre has served as Manitowoc’s premier performing arts hub for over 100 years. We are seeking a dynamic, visionary Executive Director to lead our next chapter of artistic excellence, community engagement, and growth. Supported by a vibrant arts community, an operating budget exceeding $1M, and a healthy $3.7M endowment, the Executive Director serves as our chief operating officer, strategic leader, and primary ambassador. In this role, you will provide executive oversight across venue operations, historic facility stewardship, programming, financial health, and team leadership to drive mission success. Additionally, you will work closely with the Capitol Civic Centre Foundation as the primary liaison to align strategic development efforts between the two entities. Venue Technician (As Needed)

Each Venue Technician participates on a call list to assist in multiple capacities during events. Each individual’s skills determine specific responsibilities. Individuals may be assigned various duties throughout the day, such as loader in the morning, stage crew in the afternoon, and operator during a performance.
