The Student Adventure Series is a series of carefully chosen performances designed to bring the experience of performing arts to students of all ages. Keeping education at the forefront, students learn about the different cultural and historic aspects of dance and music and are taught important life lessons through theatrical performances. Younger students often experience their first live theatrical performance here at the Capitol Civic Centre as they see their favorite childrens books come to life on our stage. Most performances are accompanied by study guides provided to teachers for use in the classroom before and after a visit to a Student Adventure Series performance. This series is extremely popular with the school systems in Manitowoc County, and because of this popularity the Capitol Civic Centre becomes the largest classroom in Manitowoc County! |
