The University of Wisconsin - Manitowoc Lakeshore Wind Ensemble’s 24th season opens with a compelling program of musical masterworks, including “Symphony No. 5, Finale” by Dmitri Shostakovich and “Variations on a Korean Folk Song” by John Barnes Chance. Guest piano soloist Dr. Allen Bonde, Manitowoc native and Professor of Music at Mt. Holyoke College, will perform the first movement of Edvard Grieg’s “Piano Concerto in A Minor.” |
