Whether you are young or old you’ll howl with laughter as two zany GUYS, playing two crazy GALS, light up the stage in the hit Off-Broadway comedy about Bingo, family bonds, widowhood, diet crazes, winning and losing and sibling rivalry. Following in the footsteps of Late Night Catechism, Fully Committed and Menopause, THE QUEEN OF BINGO is about a night in the lives of "Sis" and "Babe", two sisters on the other side of 50, who want to add a little fun, zest and excitement to their lives with a night out at the Bingo game.
The cast consisted of three men, two of them playing women: Shane Partlow as Sis, Rowan Joseph as Babe and Kevin M. Horton as Father Francis Mackenzie Muldoon. All three men were marvelous in their roles and kept the audience in a state of near-constant laughter. Partlow and Joseph, who have appeared in numerous television shows, stage shows and big screen productions were outrageously convincing as two sisters who seek a little time-out from the troubles of their daily lives in a lively game of bingo. The men were by turns hilarious and moving as they portrayed the two complicated women.
